The 3 key messages of Bernard’s campaign:
1) Cleanup of our local Tremont City barrel fill is priority #1, on an accelerated timeline, using state funds to move out NOW and setting up legal reimbursement by the corporations responsible.
2) Strengthening our law enforcement support with funding aimed at community policing, early jail intervention to curb recidivism, and legal protections for LEOs doing their job.
3) Our local schools are under control of local school boards and responsible to our parents to support and teach values that we agree are safe for children. Spending more time preparing them for college and jobs, than indoctrinating them to “woke” counter-culture.
These are the key public policies that Bernard is personally passionate about:
Clean drinking water, Law enforcement that works, Safe schools with job/college preparation at the forefront, and Business/Economic development that ensures a positive business climate that continues our upward trajectory.
